Life span: 10-15 years

Size: Sometimes called a minpin is a toy sized dog that you will find in sizes from 10 to 14 inches tall. Some will be as little as 6 Lbs up to 12-14 Lbs.

Coat: Smooth, Straight, Hard and glossy.

Appearance: Compact, elegant, smooth-coated dog. Head is long with a flat skull and strong muzzle. nose is usually black but in blue or chocolate coated dogs it may harmonize with the coat color. Eyes are usually black. Ears maybe carried erect or half dropped"cropped or uncropped". Neck is graceful, arched and carried on a short moderately deep chested body. Legs are stright and medium boned. Tail may be docked or left natural. If the latter tail is arched over the body.

Temperment: Fearless, Active, And alert. A Miniature Pinscher is a verry affectionate and loveing friend. They will run and play with children all day or sit on your lap. They are also a good guard dog despite their size. Miniature pinschers are easy to potty train and quick to learn.
